Rupes Altai es un escarpe en la superficie lunar en la zona sureste de la Luna. Se denomia así por los montes Altai, en Asia. Al final del escarpe se encuentra el cráter Picolomini.
Rupes Altai is an escarpment in the lunar surface that is located in the southeastern quadrant of the Moon's near side. It is named for the Altai Mountains in Asia, and is the most prominent lunar escarpment.The southeastern end of the cliff terminates along the western edge of the crater Piccolomini.
